Held on the beautiful grounds of a 16th Century Hertfordshire manor house, STANDON CALLING offers a chance to see some of the most exciting, hotly tipped acts as they break, in one of the most magical, intimate festival settings in the UK.
THE BANDS: With only 2,500 guests Standon offers a unique chance to see a number of acts you'll be hard pushed to find playing anywhere as intimate again.

STANDON CALLING is also gaining a reputation for being the groundbreaking celebration of the offbeat, the sensational and the bizarre. Collaborating with set designers and performers to create a fluid sensory experience the festival reaches its zenith on Saturday night.
By day, Standon is a rural country heaven - dips in the swimming pool, a spot of healing or just hanging out with the most friendly and chilled out crowd in festival-land.
THE THEME: This year theme is Japan - expect a clash between the floating world of old Japan and the searing neon decadence of its modern day equivalent. Once again there will be a massive Saturday afternoon dress up session leading in to Saturday night’s mystical soiree. Prepare yourselves for everything from samurai and geishas squaring up to crazy game show hosts, to harajuku girls, yakuza gangsters and manga characters in a Love Hotel.
